CATALYST FOR ISOMERIZATION OF XYLENE AND ISOMERIZATION REACTION OF XYLENE

PURPOSE:To provide the catalyst for isomerization of xylene by which only the isomerization reaction and the de-ethylation reaction are selectively promoted at low temp. of <=400 deg.C, and to offer the method for isomerization of xylenes. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst features in comprising a crystalline iron aluminosilicate as a carrier and platinum deposited thereon. Isomerization reaction of xylenes features in that the reaction is effected in the temp. range of 350-400 deg.C with using the catalyst comprising a crystalline aluminosilicate carrier and platinum deposited thereon.
