A bag assembly 10 is made by selecting the contents for an opaque inner bag 12, printing graphic indicia of those contents on a layer 18 and applying that layer to the interior of an outer bag 14 so that it underlies a window aperture 16 in the outer bag. A plurality of indicia layers may be produced by printing plural indicia on a single web and then slitting the web.
