In a vehicle jack, having a set-down foot and a supporting head which are connected via a lever mechanism, which is driven via a movably attached spindle and power-transmission nut (6), the power-transmission nut (6) having lateral pivot pins (10, 11) on either side with a common axis (21) which extends transversely to the axis (22) of the power-transmission thread (23), in order to design the power-transmission nut (6) in such a way that simpler assembly is made possible and the function and the requisite power transmission continue to be guaranteed, this power-transmission nut (6) is formed from two parts (13, 14) which lie together at a connecting plane (15) which lies parallel to the axis (21) of the pivot pins (10, 11) and the axis (22) of the power-transmission thread (23).
