PURPOSE:To eliminate curl to an image surface side by providing a heat pipe which cooperates with a carrying belt so that the temperature of the image surface of the transfer paper may be lowered. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper S ejected from a fixing device 2 is held between the carrying belt 3 and a driven roller 7 and carried to a paper ejecting tray 5. When the transfer paper S is held in a nip part between a heat pipe 8 and the carrying belt 3, the heat of the transfer paper is taken away by the pipe 8, and the temperature of the transfer paper S is lowered by allowing a refrigerant inside the pipe 8 to which the heat is transferred to repeat liquefaction and gasification and circulate between a heat receiving range and a heat radiating fin. By setting a bite amount between the pipe 8 and the belt the pipe 8 acts to perform pressuring for causing back curl to the transfer paper S. |
