PURPOSE:To inspect efficiently the inside surface of a long-distance piping by providing a device for measuring moving distance which is attached in a pneumatic feed capsule body provided with a stopping mechanism and a detector for weld zone as well as a camera, strobe device, inverting mirror and film case in a rotating cylinder to a capsule body. CONSTITUTION:A damper 3 is provided on the front surface of a pneumatic feed capsule body 1 which is made of a lightweight material such as an Al alloy into a cylindrical shape and is provided with a sealing cup 2a in order to relieve the impact when said body arrives at the end of a piping. A device 5 for measuring the transfer distance of the capsule is provided on the outside circumferential surface of such body 1. Said device is constituted of a touch roller 6 and a contactless reed switch 7 rotated in synchronization with the roller 6 and emits the output consisting of several pulses in one rotation. Eddy current sensors as a detector 8 for weld zone are attached to the front and rear parts on the outside circumference of the body 1. |
