An electrical jack for automotive vehicles has a removable support plate attachable to the chassis or body of a vehicle, the plate having two opposite side prolongations between which is placed a worm with its bearing. The worm has two halves of a screw in opposite directions along which move two nuts in the opposite directions, said nuts attached to two pairs of braces which are attached at their free ends to dentated shapes which allow the respective engagement and vertical movement of the pairs of braces. On one of the ends of the worm a dentated crown is attached which engages with the attack pinion of an electric motor connected to the battery of the vehicle. At the other end of the worm is a polygonal tab which turns the worm by a manual key. |
