To align the cutting edge of a tool, an adjustable spirit level with a scale is provided, which is arranged in a housing with a reference surface. The spirit level is brought into contact with the cover surface of the cutting tool beam (2) or with the tool itself. The spirit level is adjusted to the required angle and then the tool and/or the tool holder is turned until spirit level shows that the correct angle adjustment has been achieved. |
