PURPOSE:To cause a vehicle body to roll in a natural manner according to the degree of lateral acceleration equal to or above the predetermined value, when the body is subjected to acceleration, regarding the vehicle suspension device where fluid cylinders are laid respectively between each wheel and the body, and suspension characteristics are made variable so as to restrain the roll via the feed or discharge of fluid to and from each cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Fluid is supplied to or discharged from each fluid cylinder 3 to restrain the roll of a body 1, according to lateral acceleration detected by a lateral acceleration sensor 15. Also, when lateral acceleration equal to or above the predetermined value acts on the body 1, the maximum pressure of fluid to each cylinder 3 is limited by a control unit 19 to cause the natural roll of the body 1, according to the acting lateral acceleration. |
