PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk recording device which can set the width of a long pit at the value equivalent to the width of a short pit. CONSTITUTION:A laser light source 5 is provided together with an objective lens 10, a light intensity modulator 7 set on an optical path reaching the lens 10 from the light source 5, a signal source 3 which supplies the recording signal to the modulator 7, and a signal processing part 4 formed between the surface 3 and the modulator 7. The pert 4 divides a recording signal having its pulse width larger than the pulse cycle of a reference clock by a prescribed multiple into plural signals having the pulse widths smaller than the pulse cycle of the reference clock by a prescribed multiple. Then the gaps are secured among these divided signals, and these signals are synthesized and outputted as the recording signals. |
