PURPOSE:To eliminate the stop of an operation when components run out in an electronic-component mounting machine, to prevent the rate of operation from being dropped and to realize the high efficiency of a production operation in the component-mounting method of an electronic component or the like. CONSTITUTION:A component-mounting method which uses a plurality of feed parts selectively is provided with the following: a step (step #2) which predicts whether components to be mounted next on a board lack or not; and a step (step #3) which replaces a component feed part in parallel with a board conveyance part (step #4). Thereby, when the shortage of the components to be mounted next on the board is predicted, the component feed part is replaced in parallel during the conveyance of the board and the stop of an operation can be eliminated. |
