PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of informing an user that user forgets to take an original by providing a first detecting means detecting the opening state of an original pressing cover and a second detecting means detecting a state where a body to be transferred exists on a paper ejecting part. CONSTITUTION:When the projection 131 of the original pressing cover 13 presses down the projection 130 of a microswitch S2, a CPU 75 connected with it recognizes that the original pressing cover 13 is closed. On the other hand, a reflection type optical sensor S1 is provided on the terminal of a form carrying path inside a device main body. When a form is not present on a paper ejecting tray, the CPU 75 does not have the transmission of any signals, so that the CPU 75 judges that the form does not exist on the paper electing tray. From these two states, the CPU 75 judges the occurrence of that the user forgets to take the original. |
