PURPOSE:To obtain a three-dimensional laser beam machine that can easily realize to provide the surface of a solid work irradiated vertically with a laser beam, which is usually difficult and time-consuming in an instructional work. CONSTITUTION:A machining head 1 is moved along a closed loop, which starts from the instruction point of the solid work and returns to the instruction point, by a shaft feeding means 18, and on that occasion a distance between a sensor 2 and the solid work W is controlled to be constant by a sensor control means 21. When the machining head is moved, the coordinate of the three points including the instruction point is taken in to a control means 17 of a top end coordinate, the normal vector of a flat part which is formed by the three point coordinate is predetermined by a calculating means 19 of the normal vector, and the attitude of the machining head is controlled to coincide with the normal vector. Since the normal direction on the surface in a space is automatically obtained, the vertical fine adjustment of the machining head is not needed, the instruction time is therefore reduced, and also through the high precision of the normal direction a good cross section is obtained. |
