<p>PURPOSE:To remove non-metallic inclusion in a molten metal by forming a communicating hole securing distance from a bottom wall to a partition wall provided just below a partition wall between a rotating vessel and a floating-up vessel. CONSTITUTION:In a device for removing the non-metallic inclusion by giving the molten metal 7 to the horizontal rotating flow, the rotating vessel 1 and the float-up vessel 2 are provided and by providing the partition wall 8a just below the partition wall 8 provided between them, the communicating hole 5 securing the distance from the bottom wall is formed. By this constitution, the non-metallic inclusion can be effectively removed even at the unsteady time of exchanging ladles without adding any excessive large device to the device, and the reduction of defect ratio in the product and the improvement of the yield can be realized.</p> |
