<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of creases and a waviness in a long-sized sheet material by uniformly applying pressure welding force extending over the overall width of the laminating roll of a roll laminator. CONSTITUTION:A roll laminator 20 is composed of a pair of metallic rolls 3. A decompression partitioning chamber 19 is formed on the inlet side of the long-sized sheet materials 1, 2 of the roll laminator 20 by a frame 21, and the long-sized sheets 1, 2 are forwarded into the chamber 19. Both ends of laminating-roll pressure covers 11 are brought into contact with the frame 21 and the metallic rolls 3 through airtight sealing members 12. Since the laminating-roll pressure covers 11 receive atmospheric pressure, uniform pressure-welding force is applied to the overall width of the metallic rolls 3.</p> |
