Lemniscate mine lining providing a high degree of support, having a roof-bar supported by at least one hydraulic prop and connected by an articulated joint to a roof-fall shield, which is also connected by an articulated joint to front and rear lemniscate connectors, these connectors being deflectably mounted in the foot-piece, while the roof-fall shield is pushed away from the roof-bar by a roof-bar servomotor, characterized in that that the roof-fall shield (2) has an inclination (12) in its upper part, while the articulated joint (13) connecting the roof-fall shield (2) to the roof-bar (9) is transposed relative to an axis joining the centres of the articulated joints (7, 8) by a distance G>0, where the lining structure respects the following ratios: the ratio of the length (L2) of the front connector (3) to the length (L1) of the rear connector (4) is 1.21-1.25, the ratio of the distance (L3) of the articulated joints (7) and (8) to the active length (L4) of the roof-fall shield (2) is 0.20-0.25, the ratio of the vertical component (B) of the distance of the articulated joints (5) and (6) to the horizontal component (A) of that distance is 0.40-0.43, the ratio of the working range of the lining (δH) to the minimum working height (Hmin) is 0.80-1.00, and the ratios of the total height (B+C) of articulated joint (5) above the floor (14) to the minimum height (Hmin) and maximum height (Hmax) are respectively 0.40-0.50 and 0.22-0.24.<IMAGE>
