Sound absorbing charging hopper which has a shape of irregular polygon which as a casing has a broad-band sound absorbing structure composed of perforated sheet, sound absorbing material, and external screening sheet, and the hopper is equipped with an elongated charging hole that inside is partitioned with several tilt shutters and the hopper has an inlet to a cutting chamber of a milling device, characterized in that the hopper has a structure of an acoustic labyrinth silencer with the shape of reversed asymmetrical V letter and it is equipped with an elongated inlet (2) to a cutting chamber (10) of a milling device, opposite to which an acoustic silencer is mounted (3) together with an adjoining muffle and diffuse comb unit (4), while the inside of the charging hole (8) is partitioned with several tilt shutters (5) and (6), out of which at least one shutter (5) is equipped with additional acoustic insert.<IMAGE>
