PURPOSE:To provide a mold lubricant by which when a hard resin jacket crown is formed a hardened material for the jacket crown can be readily released from a model of a gypsum support tooth and which is excellent in size adaptability to an initial support tooth and which forms no unpolymerized layer on the inner surface of the jacket. CONSTITUTION:A mold lubricant set is composed of a water emulsion of a polymer having rubber elasticity and a solution containing a carboxyl group or its salt. The water emulsion is applied to that portion of a gypsum support tooth which is located above a margin portion. The solution containing the carboxyl group or its salt is applied to the margin portion. Therefore, a film having rubber elasticity derived from the water emulsion intervenes between the inner surface of a jacket crown and a gypsum model and so a mold can be easily released after hardening. Since the film derived from the polymer having carboxyl group and applied to the margin portion is thin, the film is excellent in size adaptability and also no unpolymerized layer is formed on the inner surface of the jacket. |
