PURPOSE:To obtain a high-molecular weight dispersing agent capable of not only effectively dispersing a substance sparingly soluble in an aqueous solution but also thoroughly mixing with a polymer even when mixed therewith. CONSTITUTION:A dispersing agent characterized in that it is composed of crosslinked fine particles, having 600-2000Angstrom particle size and 0.001-0.1mol/(100g, polymer) sulfonic acid content and prepared by polymerizing monomers consisting essentially of 20-98 pts.wt. acrylic acid ester and 2-80 pts.wt. di- or triacrylic acid ester by using a radically polymerizable emulsifying agent having sulfonic acid group. The aforementioned dispersing agent is capable of dispersing a substance sparingly soluble in an aqueous solution and effectively used for dispersing various coatings or dyes. |
