PURPOSE:To prevent vanishment of magnetic characteristics of the magnetic thin plate such as a silicon steel plate even when a heat treatment is conducted for removal of the strain caused by working by a method wherein excellent magnetic characteristics are obtained by increasing the density of the magnetic domain in parallel with the direction of easy magnetization of the above- mentioned magnetic thin plate. CONSTITUTION:The iron loss of the title magnetic plate is reduced by forming a plurality of small through holes 2, at the prescribed intervals of HS in the direction intersecting with the direction A of easy magnetization, on a magnetic thin plate 1 having the easy magnetization direction A and increasing the number of magnetic domain extending in parallel with the easy magnetization direction A.
