PURPOSE:To improve the expression of an electronic musical instrument, etc., by correcting read-out waveform data and an interpolation value, based on not only musical performance information but also a parameter inputted from a parameter means. CONSTITUTION:One or plural waveform data corresponding to plural levels and key codes stored in a waveform storage means 19 are read out, based on musical performance information and a parameter, and when plural waveform data are read out, they are interpolated and one waveform data is generated. This musical performance information contains musical performance information such as a level, a key code, a pitch, etc., and the waveform data is stored as a multi-dimensional matrix of a prescribed interval by setting these data as an axis. When musical performance information which does not coincide with the waveform data stored in such a way is generated, plural waveform data being adjacent to its musical performance information are read out and interpolated. In this case, by adding a parameter inputted from a parameter input means, its interpolation coefficient is increased or decreased. |
