PURPOSE:To produce the subject wire rope having large fatigue resistance and load resistance by twisting wire materials in a specific state, each of the wire materials being formed of a corrugated core wire and twisting wires arranged around the core wire. CONSTITUTION:Many twisting wires are twisted with a corrugated core wire to produce a wire material 6. One of the wire materials 6 thus produced is corrugated to give a core material 2. The plural wire materials as twisting materials 3 are arranged around and twisted with the core material 2. When the core material is twisted in the Z twisting direction, the twisting material 3 is preferably twisted in the S twisting direction. |
