A device for manufacturing heating elements of a recuperative heat exchanger, comprising a pair of rollers, whose cutting and profiling edges are rings of smaller diameters mounted on shafts alternately with rings of larger diameters, whereas each pair of rings is separated in the circular cross-section plane from another pair on the same shaft by fixed spacers, characterized in that each pair of rings (4 and 3) mounted on the second shaft (2) is separated, in the circular cross-section plane, from another pair by loosely mounted spacers (6), whose thickness is 0.5 to 0.9 of the thickness of the fixed spacers (5), and there are guiding rings (7 and 8) mounted on the edges of the rollers.<IMAGE>
