PURPOSE:To prevent a dripping of condensate caused by a dew formation with a simple configuration by a method wherein a part near a peripheral part of a blowing port of a main body of an air conditioner is provided with a surface treatment for decreasing a surface tension of condensate caused by the dew condensation or for promoting a movement of the condensate from a dew forming part. CONSTITUTION:A dew formation problem in an indoor device of a separate type air conditioner is found at a lower extremity end of a casing, a bottom surface of a dew receiving pan 9 and a louver and the like. These portions indicated by slant lines are coated with hydrophilic coating material so as to eliminate a problem of dew formation. That is, application of coating material of hydrophilic characteristic weakens a surface tension of the condensate caused by the dew formation at the part where a dew formation becomes a problem or promotes a movement of the condensate from the dew formation part. Then, the condensate caused by the dew formation is extended out of the dew forming point range, moisture is evaporated into indoor air supplied through a secondary flow out of the range of the dew forming point and then the water is prevented from being grown into larger water droplets. |
