PURPOSE:To unlock the dial lock of a telephone set by voice. CONSTITUTION:This telephone device is provided with a voice coding circuit 13 for extracting the characteristics of a voice waveform from a voice signal generated from user's speaking, a voice waveform characteristic recording circuit 5 for recording the characteristics of the voice waveform and a comparator circuit 30 comparing the characteristics of the two voice waveforms. When a word for unlocking dial lock in a dial lock state is spoken, its voice signal is supplied to the circuit 13, the characteristics of a voice waveform outputted from the circuit 13 is compared with that of the voice waveform recorded in the circuit 5 by the comparator 30, and when both the characteristics coincide with each other as the result of comparison, the dial lock is unlocked. |
