<p>PURPOSE:To measure the distance and the relative velocity of each target accurately even in the case a plurality of targets exist in the detection region of an FM-CW radar. CONSTITUTION:By mixing a local signal separated partially from a transmission signal FM-modulated with triangle modulation signal coming from a modulation signal generation circuit 1 and extracting the beat signal, the beat signal corresponding to the upward slope and the downward slope of the triangle wave are analyzed for the frequency in a processor 6 independently. By choosing the combination of the frequencies having the same level from the frequency spectrum corresponding to each slope part obtained through it, the distance and the relative velocity to the target corresponding to the level based on it are measured.</p> |
