PURPOSE:To advantageously provide an integrated circuit by providing a shift register write/read-out speed control circuit which is driven by an N-scale increment counter, and controls a driving speed of a shift register. CONSTITUTION:A plural character decoding N-scale increment counter 11 is 4-scale in this case. Also, in this N-scale increment counter 11, whether one character of one character or an N character is one character is selected, and in the case of one character: one character, output data of a video RAM 6 is supplied as a read-out address of character ROM 7 as it is, and an output of character ROM 7 is supplied to a shift register 10. In this case, a shift register write/read-out speed control circuit 12 applies a write/read-out signal at a regular speed to the shift register 10. The signal subjected to series-parallel conversion by the shift register 10 is applied to an output controller 8, and outputted as a display signal Do 9 of a times series therefrom. |
