<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the task to prepare sheet pieces and pasting them and thereby simplify a manufacturing process with a reduction of manufacturing cost by providing a finely uneven writing area on the surface of a card-like medium body. CONSTITUTION:A transparent synthetic resin sheet 2b is junctioned to both surfaces of a synthetic resin plate-like base 2a to form a main IC card system 2. In addition, a finely uneven rectangular writing area 5 is formed in parallel with a magnetic stripe on the surface of the sheet 2b. When forming the writing area 5, the sheet 2b with a finely uneven surface is used and only the writing area 5 is selectively processed with a subsequent pressing process. If a plate-like base 2a itself is used as a card body 2, the surface has only to be pressed with a finely uneven pattern. It is possible to maintain a record for a long time by writing a signature in the writing area with a ball-point pen.</p> |
