<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the reinforcement of the gas introducing port of an air bag and the installation of the air bag. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin molded bodies 26 and 27 are arranged on the obverse and reverse surfaces of the peripheral edge part of the gas introducing port 18 of an air bag 16, and a projection 30 is inserted into an engagement hole 31 and welded. Accordingly, the base cloth and the reinforcing cloth 17 of the air bag are nipping-held by the synthetic resin molded bodies 26 and 27. Accordingly, the air bag 16 is reinforced by the synthetic resin molded bodies 26 and 27. The air gag 16 can be easily installed on a retainer 4.</p> |
