Trackerball, for computer terminal, including a pilot ball (1) which is mounted rotatably over itself in a housing (5) from which it partially projects, so as to allow the resting of a user's hand and to be capable of being rotated in any direction by stroking with this hand. It includes two sensor rollers (6, 7) which, accommodated in the housing, stroke against the pilot ball and which are rotated by its movements; these rollers, which are arranged so that their respective axes of rotation (8, 9) define a secant plane, in relation to the pilot ball, and in which these two axes of rotation are preferably perpendicular, are articulated with respect to the housing in such a way as to be applied against the pilot ball under the action of a common restoring spring (17).
