Washing machine and dishwasher especially for domestic use, consisting of a tub (1), of a supply container (3) for washing powder, of a metering device (6) for this washing agent, of an inlet orifice (14) into this metering device, and of a conduit which connects this metering device to the said tub, the said supply container (3) containing a plurality of metered quantities of washing agent which can supply the machine with the necessary washing agent during a plurality of washing cycles in succession, and the washing agent being mixed periodically in the said supply container by a plurality of movable elements (7).
