<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet feeding device compact and stable in mechanism to feed a sheet so that the center line of the sheet and an image are aligned with a reference center line, when a sheet material such as photosensitive material is supplied to a photographing position. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet is held by 180 deg. by a large diameter drive roller 11 in a feeding route in which the sheet is fed by feeding belts 9 and 10 held endlessly or fixing guides 24, 25, 26, 27, and 38 and a large diameter drive roller 11, a cam 7 for operating lateral position restricting guides 3 and 4 on both sides of the sheet being fed diagonally or with its feeding center mis- aligned is operated by a cam motor 1. Thus a constant a pressing force is detected to stop the sheet with the sheet center aligned exactly with the reference center of the feeding route. Through relatively high pressing force is applied to the sheet, the stiffness at the part of the sheet held by the large diameter roll 11 and turned back is not damaged strongly. Then the lateral position restricting guides are opened and feeding drive is conducted again to make a restriction of accurate sheet position easily and securely.</p> |
