<p>PURPOSE:To provide a drive mechanism at only one side of a rise/fall plate so as to simplify the structure and make large the speed reduction ratio of a transmission arrangement to miniaturize the motor, by providing rockable rod members under the rise/fall plate, providing rise/fall-plate supporting members to the rod members, and rocking the rod members to move the rise/fall plate. CONSTITUTION:Four supporting plates 55 each have their posture turned into a horizontal posture when papers are loaded in full thereon. Upon subsequent start of the copying operation, a motor 58 is driven to rotate by a control section in order to move an uppermost paper to a corresponding position to a feed roller, whereby fan gears 75 and 74 are inwardly rotated, via a transmission mechanism, in synchronism with each other. The four supporting plates 55 are upwardly synchronously rocked via a first rod 54a and a second rod 54b to be gradually raised from the horizontal posture. A roller 57 for supporting the underside of a rise/fall plate 51 is mounted to a fore end of the supporting plate 55, and, as the supporting plates 55 rise, the rise/fall plate 51 is raised. The amount raised thereof is controlled in the control section in corresponding relation to a stacked amount of paper.</p> |
