PURPOSE:To provide a selective calling receiver by which the life of a battery can be lengthened, and a necessary calling can be attained, even when plural individual number codes are set, and the individual number codes belong to plural groups. CONSTITUTION:A time band in which the reception of a selective calling signal including the specific individual number code among the plural individual number codes is permitted, is set at a receiving time band setting part 11, and the calling of each individual number code is permitted according to the time band set at this receiving time band setting part 11. Thus, the life of the battery being a power source can be lengthened without damaging the necessary calling. |
