<p>PURPOSE:To improve thermal efficiency, to save the energy and to restrain the development of smoke and soot in a reverberatory furnace for mainly melting scrap of aluminum. CONSTITUTION:In the reverberatory furnace, which sets a burner 2 at one side wall in the box type furnace body 1 having a material charging hole 7 and a molten metal discharging hole 8 and melts the material charged into the furnace body 1 from the material charging hole 7 with flame of the burner 2 and reflective heat from a roof and wall heated by the flame, a combustion gas flow-in hole 9 is formed at one side wall of the furnace body 1 setting the burner 2 and also a combustion gas flow-out hole 10 is formed at the side wall facing to the combustion gas flow-out hole 9. Further, a flue gas duct 3 for circulating the combustion gas for recirculating the combustion gas discharged from the combustion gas flow-out hole 10 into the furnace body 1 is formed between the combustion gas flow-in hole 9 and the combustion gas flow-out hole 10, and also a secondary burner 4 in the flue gas duct 3 for circulating the combustion gas near the combustion gas flow-in hole 9, and a secondary air blowing nozzle 5 on the way of the flue gas duct 3 for circulating the combustion gas, are set, respectively.</p> |
