METHOD FOR MOLDING FRP STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To mold an FRP structure without using a mold. CONSTITUTION:An FRP raw material 1 is heated at m.p. of a resin or higher to mold it into a necessary section 3, which is then cut into pieces 7. These pieces 7 are assembled into a shape of a structure 2. Then, the pieces 7 assembled into the shape of the structure 2 are heated up to the glass transition temp. in a vacuum container and the pieces 7 are bonded together to mold them integrally into the structure 2.
