PURPOSE:To prevent a wound and laminated part of prepregs forming inner and outer layers from cracking and ply separation phenomena and to improve strength of a fishing rod in the fishing rod wherein the inner and outer layers are formed with prepregs wherein the arranging direction of a reinforcing fiber is in the peripheral direction. CONSTITUTION:In a fishing rod 1 constituted of an intermediate layer 2 formed by winding a prepreg wherein the arranging direction of reinforcing fibers is in the axial direction and an inner layer 3 and an outer layer 4 formed inside and outside of the intermediate layer and consisting of prepregs wherein the arranging directions of reinforcing fibers are in the peripheral direction, the reinforcing fibers 5 in the peripheral direction on the laminated part of the prepregs forming the inner layer 3 and the outer layer 4 intermeshes and presses into another reinforcing fiber 5 each other to bind together integrally and to prevent the laminated part from occurrence of cracking and ply separation and to improve tensile and shear strengths. |
