PURPOSE:To enable the rental service of a portable telephone terminal cooperated with a credit card concerning the portable telephone system constituted in a specified area such as an amusement park, for example. CONSTITUTION:The portable telephone system is equipped with a portable telephone terminal connecting means 1, number reading means 2 to read the number of the credit card and the phone number of the portable telephone terminal inserted to the portable telephone terminal connecting means and use tariff calculating means 3 and when renting the portable telephone terminal by using the credit card, an object table between credit numbers and phone numbers by individuals is prepared by using the credit card number and individual phone number read by the number reading means. While utilizing charge data for each individual phone number form the portable telephone system, the tariff of using the portable telephone terminal corresponding to the credit card number is calculated and automatically subtracted from the account of the credit card.
