The circuit detects and displays temperature on a screen of a television through a bar graph. The circuit includes a microcomputer (10) for generating control signal of a system and for generating temperature data according to sensed temperature, a temperature sensor (20) controlled by the microcomputer to detect temperature, a linear buffer (30) for converting analog temperature signal to digital signal and for transmitting digital temperature signal to the microcomputer, an OSD signal generator (40) for generating OSD signal according to temperature data transmitted from the microcomputer, and a CRT matrix unit (60) for overlapping temperature OSD data over video signal. |
