The transmission cooling device of the washing machine is composed of a fan (20), rotated by the rotation of driven pulley in upward direction, a number of vents (21,22,23) set up at the upper and lower guard members (13)(14) of transmission, and a gear housing (6) to convect the wind from the fan.
