Pre-cutting device for a plastic material continuously unwound from a reel which can be used in a plasticising machine or a similar apparatus comprises a pre-cutting element (23) placed on a support element (9) fastened to a frame (11) of the machine. The pre-cutting element (23) turns freely with respect to the said support element (9) and is placed opposite a free or motorised roller (12) which is opposed to it, in order to allow the passage between them of the said plastic material which is continuously unwound from the said reel, the engagement of the pre-cutting element (23) and of the roll of continuous plastic material (13) itself which is unwound from the reel and the engagement between the pre-cutting element (23) and the roll between which the continuous plastic material (13) is inserted being variable and adjustable by means of elements for adjusting the force of engagement of the pre-cutting element (23) on the continuous plastic film (13). <IMAGE>
