PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous confirmation of plural pictures by a picture display device. CONSTITUTION:A picture processor 2 is provided with a Y counter 11 and a coincidence and detection circuit 13. The Y counter 11 counts the number of the horizontal scanning line of the picture signal and outputs the counted value to the coincidence detection circuit 13. In the coincidence detection circuit 13, the picture switching position on the display picture is preliminarily set by the number of the horizontal scanning line. When the above counted value and the set value coincide, the coincidence detection circuit 13 outputs an interruption signal to CPU 16. When CPU 16 inputs this interruption signal, it makes a picture synthetic switching circuit 6 execute the picture switching operations. Thus, the plural picture can be displayed by dividing the display picture of the picture display device into upward and downward parts and the plural pictures can be confirmed simultaneouly using a picture display device. |
