PURPOSE:To regulate the curing degree of a silicone rubber layer and adhesion between the silicone layer and a photosensitive resin layer and to enhance image forming performance and printing resistance by incorporating a specified component in the photosensitive resin layer. CONSTITUTION:The printing plate material comprises a base plate, the photosensitive resin layer, and the silicone rubber layer. The photosensitive resin layer contains a photopolymerization initiator, and a polymer component capable of forming a film, and at least one of monomers represented by formula I in which each of R<1> and R<2> is H or methyl; R<3> is H, methyl, ethyl, optionally substituted phenyl, -CO-C(R<1>)=CH2, or -p-C6H4-C(CH3)2-p-C6H4-O-(CH2CH(R<2>)-O)m- CO-C(R<1>)=CH2; n is 6-46; (n+m) is 6-46; and when R<3> has no ethylenically unsaturated group, n is 6-23. Thus, the curing degree of a silicone rubber layer and adhesion between the silicon layer and a photosensitive resin layer are properly regulated and image forming performance and printing resistance are enhanced. |
