<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of poles of connectors connecting between a main body device and option devices in an electronic equipment option connection detector for detecting the presence of connection of an option device to be selectively connected to the main body device. CONSTITUTION:The option connection detector is constituted of plural connectors 4 each of which is connected between the main body device 1 and each option device 2 in order to connect/disconnect a signal line 3 for sending a control signal from the main body device 1 to the option device 2, plural voltage level detecting means 14 connected to the signal lines 3 to detect the voltage level of each corresponding signal line 3 on the main body device 1 side and plural resistors 25 each of which is connected to each corresponding signal line 3 and included in each option device 2 so that a voltage level detected by the corresponding means 14 when the connector 4 is connected is different from that obtained when the connector 4 is not connected.</p> |
