<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an information processor whose power consumption is reduced in a backup period during the OFF of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:A pseudo register circuit 21 provided with registers corresponding to registers which can not be read out by external circuits included in respective peripheral circuits 3 to 7 at the rate of 1 to 1 is provided. The registers in the circuit 21 can also be read out. When a CPU 1 writes data in the unreadable registers in the various peripheral circuits 3 to 7, the circuit 21 detects the write request and writes the same data in the corresponding registers. In the case of saving the data in a memory 2 in accordance with the generation of a power OFF command, no data are read out from the unreadable registers of the circuits 3 to 7, so that data are read out from the registers in the circuit 21 which correspond to the unreadable registers and transferred to the memory 2. After saving the data, a power supply ON/OFF control circuit 20 supplies power only to the memory 20.</p> |
