<p>The invention relates to an adjusting device for camshafts, especially for adjusting the angle of rotation between a camshaft (4) for actuating the gas valves of an internal combustion engine and its drive (3). It is fitted with a servo-motor (2) actuated by a servo-pressure medium which has working chambers with movable walls in which the volumes contained within the working chambers are increased or reduced by equal amounts during an adjustment and the working chambers can be caused to communicate via a valve (21) controlled by a control unit (19). According to the invention, the servo-motor (2) used to adjust the camshaft has eight chambers (61, 62, 71, 81, 82, 91, 92) working symmetrically together in pairs and is hydraulically coupled to an additional pump (1) integrated into the camshaft (4) drive (3).</p> |
