MANUFACTURE OF METALLIC FOIL-STUCK LAMINATE

PURPOSE:To obtain the metallic foil-stuck laminate having less flow mark on the surface of the metallic foil by suppressing the foreign matter generated from the cut end-surface of a prepreg. CONSTITUTION:The cut end-surface of the prepreg cut into prescribed dimension is brought in contact with a hot platen and is heat-treated. When the resin on the cut end-surface is melted by heat treatment and then is solidified, the fiber or the resin powder on the end-surface of prepreg-base material is fixed thereto. The prepreg after heat treatment is combined with a metallic foil, and is formed under heating and pressurizing, thereby obtaining a metallic foil-stuck laminate. If said heat treatment is carried out partially with an interval, the warpage of the laminate also becomes small.
