PURPOSE:To provide a quick charge, high instantaneous power discharge power supply having high power efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A secondary battery 10a is connected in parallel with an electric double layer capacitor 10b. Consequently, quick charge is realized in a portable electric appliance. Furthermore, since high power can be discharged instantaneously, vehicle mounted lead battery, for example, can be downsized. When this power supply is employed as the driving power supply for motor, power to be generated during regenerative brake operation can be utilized efficiently for charging. |
