PURPOSE:To speed up retrial processing to be executed when a correctable reading error is generated at the time of reading out a record from a disk. CONSTITUTION:This disk cache control device has a cache data transfer means 6 for transferring cache data from a cache memory 5 to a host processor 1, a cache data transfer means 8 for transferring the data of a record read out from the disk 3 to the cache memory 5 or the host processor 1, an error correcting means 9 for correcting error data in the memory 5 at the time of detecting a reading error, a microprocessor 10-2 for controlling transfer from the disk 3 to the memory 5 and error correction, a microprocessor 10-1 for controlling transfer between the memory 5 and the processor 1, and a shared memory 11 shared between both microprocessors 10-1, 10-2. |
