<p>An instrument for applying a pharmaceutical to the inner part of brain, which is composed of pharmaceutical applying means (1) to hold pharmaceutical (2) therein and a plunger (4) detachably attached to said applying means so as to push pharmaceutical in said means toward one end of said means (1) wherein said applying means is fitted into a pharmaceutical introducing guide (5) buried in the patient's brain beforehand for introducing pharmaceutical into a guide hole (26) of said guide so that said pharmaceutical may be guided to the inner part of brain requiring treatment by the plunger (4) through a flexible guide tube (23) communicating with the guide hole of the introducing guide. Such an instrument may be composed of a tubular pharmaceutical indwelling member (30) to internally reserve pharmaceutical and a pharmaceutical indwelling member holder (32) to integrally hold said indwelling member together with a pushing rod (31) inserted thereinto. In this case, the applying instrument itself is inserted into the introducing guide (5) and indwelt therein.</p> |
