PURPOSE:To instruct various functions corresponding to user's levels by individually displaying a general function and a specific function on a menu screen and requiring the input of a password for the specific function. CONSTITUTION:In an information processor for displaying a menu screen having the selection items of various functions and executing the function of a selected item out of the selection items, a general function and a specific function are individually displayed on the menu screen, and when the specific function is selected, the input of a passward previously written in an instruction manual for the specific function and the specific function is executed only at the time of inputting the password. For instance when a PRINT key on a keyboard 11 is depressed to specify a printing function, a control part 13 displays a menu screen on a display part 15 so that printing formats are roughly divided into reference printing and specific printing and either one of them is selected. When the specific printing which is an advanced printing function and requires complex operation is selected, the control part 13 requests the input of the password. |
